Approach in counselling
Every client comes with a unique case. Therefore, I prefer using the psychoanalytic approach where I guide the client through their suppressed emotions, memories and thoughts leading them towards catharsis.
Why I chose counselling
I have always been interested in psychology and human behaviour, and I believe that counselling is a way to use that interest to help others. I also believe that counselling is a way to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and I want to be a part of that.
I am drawn to the idea of building relationships with clients and helping them to work through their challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. I have experienced that counselling is a way to support that growth.
Therapy Style
My bag of therapy styles is filled with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Colour Therapy and Psychoanalytic Therapy. I use the therapy as required by the client and the case. Many times, I use a combination of the therapy styles for an apt therapy plan.
