Suicidal ideations (SI), often called suicidal thoughts or ideas, is a broad term used to describe a range of contemplations, wishes, and preoccupations with death and suicide. It can be active and passive in nature.
People with suicidal ideation have a history of trauma, mental health issues, major life challenges and chronic health issues. For them, death seems to be the only way out of their problems.
The presence of suicidal ideation, preoccupation with your own death or attempts of self-harm are a red flag for your mental health. Reach out to our certified therapists to end this struggle with your suicidal thoughts and behaviour.
Our mental health affects how we think, feel and act. And sometimes, we’re not completely ok – and that’s fine. Talk to a counsellor to reclaim your emotional, psychological and social wellbeing.
