Types of LGBTQIA+ Therapy
Clarity on Self
Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community often begins with discovering yourself; your body, choices, sexual preferences, habits, etc. This journey of self-discovery may be overwhelming; but a little guidance and support will make it amazing.
Adjusting to Your Body
Identifying yourself as a different gender than what your body suggests bewilders the mind. But once you have discovered your identity, learning to be comfortable with it and structuring your physical appearance accordingly is the task we wish to assist you with.
Addressing Gender Dysphoria
The confusion caused due the difference in assigned sex and identified gender can lead to years spent in distress. Expressing your concerns and getting a clear idea of what is happening in your mind and body is the aim of our therapy. We also have certified psychiatrists onboard who will administer medications if required.
Managing interpersonal relations
The people you were close to and trusted may not be as accepting and warm towards you as before once you come out of the closet. There are ways to work on your relationships through some guided techniques and methods. It also includes moving on from the relationships that may be difficult to salvage.
