Why I chose counselling
My inclination towards mental health and counselling stems from my own personality. Since my formative years I have always been a good listener. I soon myself realised that I am empathetic in nature and the process of listening and supporting people makes me happy. I seek to make people aware of mental health and help them work through their emotional and behavioural concerns through counselling.
Therapy Style
I am trained in Eclectic deriving from Cognitive-behavioural therapy, Positive psychotherapy and Solution-focused brief therapy. The usage of each therapy style is put to use as per the requirements of the case and client. Often, I use multiple styles in combination as well.

- Why did you choose counselling?
My inclination towards mental health and counselling stems from my own personality. Since my formative years I have always been a good listener and my friends always used to discuss their problems with me. I realised after a point of time that I really liked this process and this realisation was further strengthened when people around also appreciated this trait of mine. I soon myself realised that I am empathetic in nature and the process of listening and solving peoples problems makes me happy. Also during my 11-12th standard, I went through phases of anxiety when I little knew how to handle it better. After my 12th class I decided to take this more seriously by making it my profession. I enrolled in the Bachelors program at University of Delhi and from there it’s been a really nice journey. I have evolved from a naive problem solver to a mental health professional. I seek to make people aware of mental health and help them work through their emotional and behavioural concerns through counselling.
