Our budding author, Taanvi Arekapudi, experienced and learnt to handle her overwhelming emotions with the help of her mother who is a mindfulness and meditation teacher. Faced by strong emotions and feelings of confusion and frustration, 13-year-old Taanvi not only managed to overcome the challenge by mastering effective techniques to get the better of the situation, but also went ahead and penned a book “Uplift Teens Today” to help others like her with coping strategies.
Ananda was intrigued by the journey of the young mental health advocate. Wanting to know more about her, Ananda conducted a live interview with Taanvi on 3rd March, 2023. During the discussion, Taanvi shared her own experience of how breathing techniques helped her tackle stressful situations.
